NYS Nail Specialty License Course
Located on Main Street, Flushing, New York, Tinny Beauty is a New York State licensed school with an approved curriculum in Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Specialty, Waxing and Permanent Makeup.
NYS Nail Specialty License Course 250 hours,$950
A 250- hour curriculum approved by the New York State Education Department.
Tuition is $950. Experienced nail technicians wishing to obtain a Nail Specialty License will pay less on pro-rata basis after evaluation.
The curriculum includes:
Orientation --- 4 hours
- Safety and Health --- 8 hours
- Anatomy and Physiology of the Nail, Hand, Arm, Foot and Leg --- 14 hours
- Bacteria & Infectious Diseases, Nail, Foot, Skin Disorders & Diseases --- 14 hours
- Methods of Infection Control --- 12 hours
- Client Consultation --- 4 hours
- Manicuring and Hand/Arm Massage --- 26 hours
- Pedicuring --- 20 hours
- Tip Application and Design --- 14 hours
- Nail Wraps --- 30 hours
- Liquid and Powder Nail Extensions --- 57 hours
- Gel Nails --- 21 hours
- Nail Art --- 6 hours
- Business Practices --- 14 hours
- Job Skills --- 6 hours
