New classes are on going, 7 days a week. It is usually a very small class ranging from one to five students. Graduates are awarded with a certificate or diploma. In order to perform the procedures in New York city, graduates are required to obtain a "tattoo license" issued by the New York City Health Department. Such license will require the graduate to attend a one-day course conducted by NYC Health Department and then to pass a written test.
